Video: Dashboard Cam of No. 6 PPM Running At Petit Le Mans
If any of you out there are just like us here at Motorsport Media Hub, we could watch dashboard videos of race cars speeding around a track for hours and hours on end - all in the name of endurance racing.
On a similar note, if you guys aren't familiar with Pizza's Racing Onboards (I mean, how could you not be?) it's an account on YouTube that somehow gets footage of "various NASCAR, IMSA, and WEC racing onboards" and they've come through with the goods multiple times over.
Coming out of Petit Le Mans, we have 20 minutes of Nick Tandy in the No. 6 Porsche Penske 963 racing at night while cutting in out of traffic with only inches to spare between himself and the other 50+ cars that he was sharing the track with.
Every time we see footage like this we stop and marvel at how in the world these drivers can all manage to co-exist at the same time without completely wiping each other out in spectacular fashion, especially at night and ESPECIALLY at Petit Le Mans where it's dark as hell save for a handful of lampposts and the headlights of the cars themselves.
It legitimately makes no sense how we went five-plus hours between yellow flags last Saturday, just simply amazing.
Sit back and enjoy:
